01 / ABOUT THE PLACE

About this place

Located in the Oharano area of Kyoto's Nishikyo Ward, Primavera Oharano offers freshly baked bread—crafted with carefully chosen ingredients early on the morning of service—alongside a relaxed bakery-cafe experience. Bread sales and cafe service run every Tuesday and Friday from 10:00 to 16:00, with cafe menu items served from 11:30. Bread chosen inside can also be enjoyed on-site, making it well suited for an unhurried cafe pause.

Across the floor, display stands for the bread and several tables crafted by the on-site woodworking studio, Kokusosha, surround visitors with the tactile warmth of natural wood. A grand piano, a harpsichord handmade by the owner, and music boxes from Kokusosha that can be played at any time lend the quiet space the gentle presence of music and woodcraft.

Free parking is provided on the grounds, and facilities such as diaper-changing stations and a nursing room cater to those arriving by car or with small children. Cashless payment methods such as d-barai, au PAY, PayPay, Rakuten Pay, V-Money, and transit IC cards are not accepted.
